Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder André is being targeted by Juventus. The Italian club plans to revamp their midfield after switching from coach Thiago Motta to Igor Tudor.

What happened?

André, who celebrates his 24th birthday next week, made 33 Premier League appearances in his debut campaign for Wolverhampton Wanderers. He was purchased from Fluminense a year ago at a cost of €22m.

Why it matters for Wolverhampton Wanderers

The asking price for André would be upwards of €30m for a move to Serie A. This is only if Juventus manages to sell Douglas Luiz, who was a complete flop after his €50m transfer from Aston Villa last summer.

What comes next?

André's characteristics are not dissimilar to Douglas Luiz, and there is some good experience thanks to his 12 senior caps for Brazil. Juventus is planning a complete revamp of their midfield, and André could be the heir to Douglas Luiz. | Stat | Value | | --- | --- | | Premier League appearances | 33 | | Transfer fee from Fluminense | €22m | | Asking price for Serie A move | €30m+ | | Senior caps for Brazil | 12
